Siding & Roofing in Everett, Medford and Danvers

Siding and roofing are your home's raincoat. Their job is to shed water, block wind and handle the swing between August heat and February ice, all while looking good from the street. When they fail, the damage shows up indoors as stains, peeling paint, drafts and rotted sheathing, usually long after water first got in.

We treat the exterior as one system. Before new siding goes up, damaged sheathing is replaced and the wall is wrapped with a weather-resistive barrier. Windows and doors are flashed in the correct shingle order so water always runs outward, and every penetration, from dryer vents to light fixtures, gets a mounting block and proper flashing.

For siding we install vinyl in a range of profiles and colors, fiber cement for a crisp painted look with excellent fire and rot resistance, and cedar shingles or clapboards for homes where natural wood suits the architecture. Corner boards, window trim and soffits are wrapped or built to match.

On roofs we focus on asphalt shingle replacement and repairs on homes around Medford, Danvers and Everett. That includes ice and water shield at the eaves and valleys, drip edge, step and counter flashing at walls and chimneys, and balanced ventilation so the attic does not cook in summer or form ice dams in winter.

Exterior jobs often reveal framing that needs attention, such as a sagging porch roof or a rotted sill. Because we also do framing, those repairs are handled in the same project, and our crew can tie in a new deck ledger while the siding is open.

Our siding & roofing process

  1. Exterior inspection

We walk the house, check for soft spots, look in the attic when possible and photograph problem areas.

  2. Proposal and options

You get a written scope with material choices and colors, and we confirm permits where required.

  3. Protect and remove

Landscaping and windows are protected, then old material is removed in sections to limit exposure.

  4. Repair and install

Sheathing, wrap and flashing go in first, followed by siding or shingles and trim.

  5. Clean and review

We sweep for nails, haul away debris and walk the exterior with you.

Why hire a professional

Exterior work is where shortcuts hide best. Siding can look perfect while window flashing is installed backward, and a new roof can look clean while the old drip edge and step flashing were simply reused. Those details decide whether the job lasts, and they are invisible a week later.

Working at height also carries real risk. A professional crew brings staging, fall protection, roof brackets and the experience to use them every day, so the project moves efficiently and safely instead of becoming a risky weekend job on a ladder.
